November 2024 - Flooding Situation
The Cleveland Pools Trust has been carrying out detailed technical assessments of the serious damage to the site following the flooding in January which caused it to shut to the public. This is a very complex matter and has involved the Trust in obtaining professional advice and assistance over the course of this year, which is ongoing.
Currently it is not possible to give any accurate estimation of the timescale to bring the pools back into use which remains the Trust’s ultimate goal.
The Trust is grateful to the many messages of support and understanding in these difficult circumstances and is grateful for the continuing encouragement received from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to resolve these issues.

Day-to-day operation of Cleveland Pools is being conducted by the highly experienced Fusion Lifestyle which operates a large number of lidos and pools throughout the country.
We are pleased to be member of the Historic Pools of Britain who celebrate, champion and campaign for historic pools, giving them a shared voice throughout the country, alongside providing opportunities for mutual support and learning.
